· About this route
Nine kilometres separate Stuttgart Airport from Degerloch, and the drive takes 13–20 minutes — you will almost certainly spend longer at the baggage belt than in the car. Degerloch is not the city centre; it sits on the plateau above the Stuttgart basin, which is exactly why it is so close to the airport. Once you are through baggage reclaim, walk out into the arrivals area on Level 2: the driver is standing there with a tablet showing your name and booking reference, and the fixed price was already charged to your card when you booked. Give us your flight number at booking — the airport has arrivals exits at more than one terminal, and that tells our dispatch which one to meet you at.
The usual routing is the B27 north, off the Filder — the flat farmland shelf the airport sits on — and up onto the Degerloch plateau. It is a trunk road rather than a motorway grind, and it behaves well outside the commuter peaks, roughly 07:00–09:00 and 16:00–18:30, when the junctions at the top of the climb can cost five or seven minutes. Trade-fair weeks at the Messe, the exhibition grounds directly beside the airport, mainly slow the first two kilometres. Whatever the traffic does, the fare does not move: it is fixed at booking, not measured by a taximeter.
Three kinds of passenger book this stretch. Guests visiting family, because Degerloch is a genuine residential district rather than a hotel strip; travellers who would rather sleep on the quiet plateau than beside a runway, while staying a quarter of an hour from both the airport and the Messe; and people working at the office parks further down the Filder, in Möhringen and Vaihingen. Drop-off is wherever you enter at booking: a house number in the streets around the Fernsehturm, the television tower that marks the district from every direction, a hotel entrance, or the U-Bahn light-rail stop at Albplatz if you are continuing into the centre.

In the arrivals area on Level 2, just inside the sliding doors, with a tablet showing your name and booking reference. The four terminals stand side by side in one connected building, so it is a short walk from the baggage belts and there is no shuttle between buildings to work out first. Enter your flight number at booking — the airport has arrivals exits at more than one terminal, and that is how dispatch knows which one to send the driver to. If you cannot see the driver within a few minutes of coming through, call the dispatch number on your confirmation and we will guide you to each other.
No, and we prefer to say so plainly: we do not use live flight tracking. Instead, set the pickup for roughly 45 minutes after the scheduled landing time, which normally covers taxiing, passport control and baggage. If you already know you are delayed, send dispatch the new landing time — from the gate, from a transit lounge, whenever you can — and we move the pickup at no extra cost. The fixed price stays as booked.
Yes. 45,90 € is the fixed Standard price, agreed and charged to your card at booking, with 7 % VAT already included — German passenger transport is taxed at 7 % up to 50 km or within a single municipality, and 9 km qualifies. Luggage, night hours and weekends sit inside that number. There is no airport surcharge, no night tariff, no card fee and no meter ticking in the corner of your eye.
Standard carries up to 4 passengers and 3 suitcases for 45,90 €. Premium is an S-Class with the same 4 passengers and 3 suitcases in a quieter cabin, at 55,90 €. The Van takes 8 passengers and 8 suitcases, also 55,90 €. Since Premium and Van cost the same on this route, choose by what you are carrying: a group or bulky luggage goes in the Van, two people off a long-haul usually prefer the Premium.
Yes. Set the number of child seats directly in the booking form — they have their own stepper and cost nothing. Each seat occupies a passenger seat and counts towards the vehicle total, so two adults plus two seated children already fill a Standard car; if your group plus seats outgrows the class, the form moves the booking up to the Van by itself.
Yes. Dispatch runs around the clock and the fare is identical at 23:40 and at 09:40 — no night tariff, no weekend surcharge. The B27 is empty late in the evening, so the drive sits at the fast end of 13–20 minutes. Several residential streets on the plateau are narrow or one-way; if your address is on a dead end or behind a courtyard, mention it at booking so the driver approaches from the right side.
Cancel more than 24 hours before the pickup time and the full fare is refunded to the card you paid with. Between 6 and 24 hours before, half the fare is refunded. Under 6 hours, or if nobody appears in the arrivals area, there is no refund. If you simply need a different time rather than a cancellation, contact dispatch — we re-slot where a vehicle is free, at the same fixed price.
