Visiting CMT in Stuttgart? Start with where you actually need to go after landing: your hotel, an appointment or the exhibition entrance. Messe Stuttgart is beside the airport, so walking can be the practical choice for the fair itself. A pre-booked airport transfer is particularly useful when your accommodation is elsewhere.
CMT is announced for 16–24 January 2027. Check your chosen day and ticket with the organiser before booking a car. Travel dates, a hotel stay and exhibition admission are separate arrangements. Our booking covers the agreed passenger journey; it does not include a room, admission or an official event shuttle.
Arriving before your CMT visit
Use your hotel’s complete street address and town, not just its brand. An airport-area property and a city-centre hotel are different destinations even if both mention Stuttgart in their names. The booking total is based on the journey entered, so review the actual address before continuing to payment.
Ask the hotel about check-in and luggage storage if your flight arrives before the room is ready. This can determine whether you go to the hotel first or walk to the exhibition. A driver does not automatically wait during hotel check-in or stay available for an unbooked onward leg.
Travelling with a family, colleague or exhibitor team
When someone else makes the reservation, the travelling guest still needs the confirmed pickup details. Include a mobile number that works during the trip, and account for everyone’s luggage. Enter travelling children and the required child seats in the form rather than assuming they will be available without selection.
An exhibitor may have brochures, display cases or other material in addition to personal bags. Send the size and number of unusual items to dispatch before booking. Passenger transport is different from moving a stand, delivering freight or gaining vehicle access to an exhibition hall.
Leaving CMT for your return flight
Allow time to walk from the exhibition hall to your meeting point, collect coats and retrieve luggage if it is at your hotel. Specify the actual pickup address. A fair entrance, a hotel reception and the airport terminal are different places; a venue name alone can leave the driver and guest waiting at different locations.
Book a direct journey to STR with enough time for airport procedures. If the plan includes a hotel stop or several pickups, request those legs first. Additional stops are not automatically included in a direct fare. Agree any itinerary change with dispatch and keep the confirmation available on the travel day.
Questions before you book
Does a CMT admission ticket include your transfer?
No. Our passenger transfer is a separate booking and payment. Check the official ticket conditions for any included public-transport offers; they do not reserve one of our cars.
Which date should I enter for my booking?
Use the actual date and Stuttgart local time of your journey. Your flight or hotel arrival may be before the fair opens. Check the organiser’s event dates separately; those dates do not automatically select a pickup date or reserve a vehicle.
Do I need a car from Stuttgart Airport to Messe Stuttgart?
The exhibition grounds are beside STR and many visitors can walk from the terminal. Check which entrance is open for your event and the actual walking route. A pre-booked car is more relevant for a hotel elsewhere, another destination, or mobility and luggage requirements agreed with dispatch. A road journey and a pedestrian route have different distances.
How do I book my airport-to-hotel transfer?
Enter the full hotel address, Stuttgart pickup date and time, passengers and luggage. Review the total for that specific journey before paying online. A fare example to the exhibition centre is not a blanket price for every hotel. After successful payment, you receive a booking confirmation. For more than one stop, send an enquiry first.
Can I arrange hotel-to-fair journeys and several appointments?
Yes, send an enquiry with each date, time, full address and traveller contact. Dispatch checks availability, vehicle requirements and price. Hotel-to-fair journeys without the airport and additional stops need an agreed offer. An enquiry, admission ticket or hotel reservation does not itself confirm a car, a daily shuttle or waiting time.
Where will I meet the driver at STR?
For main-terminal pickups, all vehicle classes meet in the public arrivals area with a name board. Allow time for immigration, baggage reclaim and walking; around 45 minutes after scheduled landing is a planning guide. Your flight number is optional. Contact dispatch to agree and confirm any changed pickup time rather than assuming a delay automatically moves the booking.
Can I book from abroad or for a colleague?
Yes. Use Stuttgart local time and give a reachable mobile number for the travelling guest. Share the confirmed pickup details with them. The website and booking are available in English, Turkish, Italian, French, Spanish, Greek, Polish and Croatian; this event guide is in English. Dispatch communicates in German and English. Available payment methods appear at checkout; bank authorisation may be required.
Will our team and exhibition samples fit in one vehicle?
Enter both people and luggage, including personal bags. Ask dispatch to check large sample cases or unusual items with their dimensions before booking. Seat count alone does not guarantee cargo space. Exhibition freight, stand assembly and access to loading areas are not automatically included in a passenger transfer. Request a suitable arrangement for several vehicles or special requirements.
Can my company receive an invoice?
Request an invoice using the booking reference and supply the billing address. Agree cost-centre details, purchase-order references or grouping of related journeys before booking. A company invoice does not by itself establish the customer category. Cancellation and refund terms are set out in the contract conditions; any refund follows manual review and approval.
