That figure covers the motorway run and the airport approach and includes 19 % German VAT; nothing is added for an early hour, a weekend, luggage or paying by card. It is a fixed price agreed at booking, not a taximeter reading, and it is charged to your card when the booking is confirmed — so the amount on the confirmation is the amount on your statement.

German law applies the reduced 7 % rate to passenger transport only up to 50 kilometres, or within a single municipality. Child seats occupy a seat, so count them as passengers when you pick the class. Skis, bicycles, instrument cases and trade-fair crates belong in the Van — note them when booking so the driver plans the loading.

Yes, both are routine. At KIT Campus Süd on Engesserstraße and Campus Nord at Hermann-von-Helmholtz-Platz the driver waits at the visitor entrance rather than circling a barrier. Around the Federal Court of Justice on Herrenstraße the kerb space is tight, so pickup is usually agreed for a side street a short walk away — the exact spot is settled when you book, not improvised at 04:00.

Call or message dispatch to move the pickup — someone answers around the clock, and we would rather re-slot you than watch you miss a flight. If the trip falls away entirely, cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the booked pickup, refunds 50 % between 6 and 24 hours, and under 6 hours or on a no-show there is no refund.

The four terminals sit side by side in one connected complex, a few minutes apart on foot. The driver pulls up at Departures on Level 3, directly in front of the terminal building, and hands your bags over on the pavement rather than at a distant car park. Your check-in desk number tells you which terminal to walk into — the first digit is the terminal number — and the screens at the entrances show which desk your flight is using. From that door to security is a walk of a couple of minutes.
